Our mission: structural growth
TopBJJ Kids was born from a realization: Our region has the talent, but it lacks the density of high-level partners found in places like the US or Brazil. Young talent often hits a ceiling because they run out of challenging partners in their immediate vicinity.
We are changing that. We are connecting the dots between 241+ athletes, 75+ coaches, and dedicated parents across 5 countries. By breaking down the walls between teams, we create an ecosystem where exponential growth becomes possible.
The "bubble" theory
Too many talented kids get stuck in a "bubble." They dominate their local training room but freeze when they face a new style at an international tournament.

Who runs TopBJJ Kids?
TopBJJ Kids is not owned by one person or one academy. We are a neutral platform, built by volunteers, parents, and BJJ enthusiasts.
Our role is to connect. We facilitate communication, registrations, and planning, and provide assistance on the mats - so athletes can focus on getting better every time they step on and off the TopBJJ mats.
The training is shaped by the people who show up. Guest Coaches lead the sessions. Athletes bring the effort. Parents support the journey.

The journey so far
From a small idea to a regional movement
The first editions
A proof of concept that proved there was a massive demand for neutral training grounds. Our first four editions showed the BJJ community was hungry for a politics-free space to train together.
Professionalization
We moved from a "project" to an "organization." We established a dedicated core team and developed a strategic roadmap, shifting our focus toward long-term quality and consistency.
Network expansion
We scaled up with a structured event calendar and rapidly expanded our cross-border network, welcoming a wave of new coaches and host academies into the TopBJJ family.
Digital platform launch
We launched our custom digital ecosystem. Now, athletes, parents, coaches, and hosts can seamlessly manage profiles, invitations, and events. It's more than just software; it is the backbone of a transparent, connected community.
