TopBJJ's vision
The TopBJJ ecosystem brings motivated young Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes together to train, test themselves and grow beyond their usual training. We are not an academy, team or fixed location. TopBJJ is a development platform where the athlete comes first, built around connection, challenge and long-term growth.
The home academy remains the cornerstone of the athlete. TopBJJ builds on that foundation and provides extra challenges with competition-focused classes, different teaching styles and partners across different academies. Our philosophy is simple: learn it here, take the lesson back home.
Independent platform
Built for the youth BJJ community
TopBJJ Kids is an independent youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu platform that connects athletes across academies.
We bring motivated young athletes together with experienced coaches, academies and training locations.
TopBJJ is not an academy or competition team. Athletes remain part of their own academy while learning from different coaches, training partners and environments.
Coaches contribute to individual sessions, camps and events. TopBJJ independently organises and facilitates the platform.
Youth athletes remain at their own academy, with the coach and team that got them here. TopBJJ builds on that foundation, but we will not compete as a team or present ourselves as one. We provide an opportunity to train without leaving the home academy. We do not collect athletes, we connect them.
We believe that progression is built through exposure to the right challenges. Not only in competition, but also in training, by training with different partners. Seeing what works and what they can still work on, then taking those lessons back to their daily training.
1. Academy remains the cornerstone.
The home academy remains the foundation. We only build on that. TopBJJ does not replace the coach, the team or the daily work that shapes the athlete.
2. Challenge with purpose
Pressure is deliberate but always well matched. Respect and safety always comes first.

BJJ grows when academies, coaches, parents and athletes connect without ego.
The rules that protect the room
Community-built
Free invitationals are possible because host locations, coaches, parents and volunteers invest time, energy and care into the future BJJ community.
Open to everyone
Medals and belt color do not decide the room. Attitude, effort, coachability and willingness to learn matter more.
No recruitment
TopBJJ is neutral ground. We do not pull athletes away from their home academy; every session sends growth back to their own coach and team.
No strings attached
Join whenever the edition, theme and timing fit. Participation is never mandatory, which keeps the mats diverse and welcoming.

Our energy comes from the athletes who show up ready to work, the parents who support the journey and the coaches who protect the standard. Host academies make the sessions possible, but TopBJJ is not built around ownership. It is built around trust.
